　　鍋爐（lú）的（de）主要工作原理是一種利（lì）用燃（rán）料燃燒後釋放（fàng）的熱能或工業生產中的餘熱傳遞給容器內的水，使（shǐ）水達到所需要的溫度或一定壓力蒸汽的（de）熱力設備（bèi）。鍋爐在（zài）“鍋”與“爐”兩部（bù）分同時進（jìn）行，水進入鍋爐（lú）以後，在汽（qì）水係統中鍋爐受熱麵將吸收的熱量傳遞給水，使水加熱成一定溫度和壓力的熱水或生成蒸汽（qì），被引出應用。在燃（rán）燒設備部分，燃料燃燒不斷放出熱（rè）量，燃燒（shāo）產生的高溫煙氣通過熱的傳播，將（jiāng）熱量傳遞給鍋爐受熱麵（miàn），而本身溫度逐漸降低，最後由煙囪排出。
